Yes, you read that right.Onward Magazine now has no subscription fees of any kind. And that’s just one of the changes we’ve made.
When we launched our magazine in September we knew we had a few things to learn about the publishing business.
Boy, were we right.
Here is what we learned:
Millions of blog posts litter the internet. The lot of them contain rudimentary information surrounded by filler and stock photos that have been regurgitated from various other sources.
How are you supposed to know what to read and what is going to be a waste of your precious time?
Considering reading the article, “The Top 5 Things Your Business Should Be Doing On Facebook?” Don’t waste your time.
It’s full of redundant insights like, “You should create a company page,” and “Make sure to engage with your followers.”
I hope you already know this basic stuff. It’s posted all over the internet.
Copywriters churn out recycled content like this all the time. Articles that contain a few basic ideas with no practical examples woven into some “creative” copy.
After reading these articles you aren't going to be left with much practical advice. Nothing you can act on.
Our mission at Onward has always been to provide business owners, marketers and salespeople with resources they can actually use to help grow their business.
As it turns out, that was easier said than done. And it was critical that we reevaluate to stick true to our mission.
From here on out we will be making a stronger effort to bring our readers content that sticks true to our tagline, “Marketing And Sales Strategies That Actually Get Results.”
We’re not going to pretend we know all the answers. Pontification is so uncool. Rather, we are going to do some research and find the answers for you.
How will we do that?
Our focus will be shifting, largely to interviews. With exclusive interviews, we can look to the best and brightest in our fields for answers.
We’ll be talking directly with Business Owners, VP’s, CMO’s, COO’s, Directors and anyone else who is actually living the things we want to know.
We’ll dig deep, ask the tough questions and uncover actual strategies that you can use. After all, who better to learn from than the people who already know how to win?
We really hope you will like the changes. Make sure to get your free subscription today, and get ready, you're going to learn a thing or two.
